This is a guide to keep your computer secure against the Java attack. This post is on how to remove Java from your Windows 7 PC completely to keep your computer safe against any suck attacks. There are a lot of vulnerabilities with Java and is recommended that you remove java completely to keep your computer to be secure against any java exploits. Before you uninstall , you must know that uninstalling Java from your java may not allow some programs to run properly.
Step 1:
Click on the Start Button (that looks like a flag usually in the left bottom corner of your screen) and click on “Control Panel”.
Step 2 :
Now, click on “Uninstall a program” . (Note: If you don’t see a similar page like the one below, try to change the View in the top to “Category” )
Step 3:
Now, type in “java” in the search box in the upper right corner. You will now see all the java components like the one below:
Right click on each of them and click on “Uninstall” and it will remove Java from your computer.
Step 4:
To verify that java is active or not by going to http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp

Disconnected myself from the internet and attempted to remove Java 7 Update 10 and received this message, ” ! An unidentified program wants to access your computer.”
Gave me the option of “Allow” or “Cancel”. I chose the latter out of fear.

Alright, so just after you clicked on the “Uninstall” button for Java if you get this box from “User Account Control” , it is probably requesting your permission to allow Java from your computer. You can click on “Allow” and after that it should remove Java from your computer.
And after you remove java, close all your windows and open up your internet browser(Internet Explorer) and verify that Java is not currently active by going to the website
http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp
It should say “No working Java was detected on your system.”
I could not remove an anti virus…It would not disapear
Which anti Virus? And you mean it wont disappear from the Add/Remove Programs list?

If it is not dissapearing from control panel, you can remove through registry winner software.
Also, remove the Ad-aware toolbar program too if you find it in the programs list. Please, Let me know if you need help with it. Thank You
Can you tell me more about why java may not be a good idea or risky please?
Java is required for some websites or programs to work properly. But, some versions of java has some problems or flaws that were found by hackers which allows them to hack into computers that has java installed. Recently, there is a lot of incidents where hackers are hacking into computers due to this flaw.
Even Department of Homeland Security has requested users to disable or remove Java for your computer to secure your PC against such threats.
